For this project, I conducted a digital forensic investigation to determine if a user's account had been compromised. Using a physical drive as evidence, I meticulously analyzed it in my forensic lab, documenting extensive notes and employing forensic tools to delve into the evidence. The resulting 14-page report, outlined in detail in the accompanying PDF, led to conclusive findings that resolved the case. Out of respect for the creator's wishes, specific findings are not disclosed online.
I leverage the UTM application to host my virtual machines.
This was my first virtual machine, specifically designed for digital forensics purposes as a home lab.
I configured this virtual machine specifically for hacking competitions, leveraging Kali Linux for its pre-installed essential hacking tools. Using this setup has been instrumental in immersing myself in the hacker mindset, making it my preferred platform for such activities.
This is my most recent virtual machine creation. While I have yet to assign a specific purpose to it, I have been experimenting with the Ubuntu user interface.
